Kforce has a client that is seeking a Help Desk Technician- Tier 1in Bradenton, Florida (FL).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming Support Center calls, respond to requests via email, web and walk-ins regarding POS hardware, software, printers, PC and telecom equipment
  • Monitor multiple systems (Windows, AS400, E-com) for uptime and performance SLA's
  • Respond to monitoring alerts and ensure proper escalation
  • Assist with support of other Information Services teams
  • Respond to Support Center calls, self-service portal, and email requests from corporate and store end users, communication vendors, hardware / service support vendors
  • Monitor activities, performance and messages of enterprise system equipment in multiple Data Centers
  • Coordinate flow of batch jobs and printed output for AS400
  • Report all system and/or network problems, record issues in Incident Management application
  • Follow documented procedures and schedules in daily operational monitoring Run Book
  • Print, organize and distribute daily and monthly reports as needed by users and departments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user issues and requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
