Job Summary: The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for ensuring company, state and federal compliance during the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees.  Additionally, they will assist with a wide-range of tasks in order to help support the HR Department. 


Primary Responsibilities:


  1. Assist with the onboarding and acculturation of new employees.  Help with offboarding processes as well.

  2. Draft offer letters and forward new hire paperwork to final applicants.

  3. Oversee full pre-employment drug and background process, including record entry, data validation, data security, invoicing, reporting, and vendor communication

  4. Responsible for handling all stages of onboarding process through FieldGlass.

  5. Facilitate new hire engagement process and surveys.

  6. Answer routing HR questions that are received through HR Inbox.

  7. Facilitate technician badging process for new technician hires in Direct Satellite division.

  8. Assist with offboarding employees – closing out resources and terminating fuel pins.

  9. Track and conduct follow up on all termination reports, and supporting documentation

  10. Conduct exit interviews, track and report any concerns/feedback to HR Director and field Management

  11. Review and provides requested information to vendor for all unemployment claims received

  12. As needed, conduct audits to ensure employment compliance for W2 employees and subcontractors

  13. Oversight of relationship with third-party telecom provider to include shipment and return of handheld devices to field offices.

  14. Assist with special HR projects as needed
