Our client has multiple needs open for Entry Level Cable Technicians. These technicians will be learning cabling on a grand scale through one of the biggest Social Networking Servicing Company in the world. They have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for them throughout the data center. Some of the entry level techs will have the chance to become a "Tech II" or even convert to a perm employee.

Job Title: Cable Tech
Location: Des Moines, IA
Duration: 6 months – 2 years. Promotional opportunity and possibility of getting hired on permanently with the company
The role will be to assist the higher level techs and the team leads in building out the infrastructure to include:
- pulling cable
- pulling fiber
- learning color codes
- learning how to punch down and terminate fiber
- installing cable trays and pathways
- build server racks
- Construction background
- Mechanically inclined
- Willing to learn a new trade
- MUST be able to pass extensive background and drug test which is required at time of hire
