Kelly Services, a Global Leader in the marketplace for Recruiting and Business Solutions, is currently looking to identify several Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technicians for an industry-leading pharmaceutical client in the Frederick, Maryland area!  This is a great opportunity to work with a growing operation in the industry.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll be responsible for operating a variety of Formulation equipment/processes to ensure production requirements are met, all while following company policies/procedures and maintaining cGMP compliance.
Pay: $27.50 per hour
Anticipated Start Date: Monday, May 7, 2018
Duration: Long Term Contract Position
Shift: 6pm-6am (12hr Rotating Night Shift) 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Operation of upstream /downstream /central services processing equipment according to established 

    SOPs.

  • Working with equipment that includes but is not limited to bioreactors, TFF skids, biological safety cabinets, incubators, chromatography skids, UFDF skids, atoclaves, washers, and product hold tanks. 
  • Upstream /downstream /central services processing according to established manufacturing production records (MPRs & SPRs) in accordance with cGMPs. 
  • Provided training on these activities and must be able to operate process equipment with intent to be qualified.  
  • Ability to provide cGMP documentation. 
  • Occasional contact with individuals representing other departments involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA or Associates degree preferred with 1 plus years of Manufacturing Tech experience.
  • High School Diploma acceptable with 3 to 5 years of Manufacturing Tech experience
  • Desired 3+ years of experience as an Operator in a production environment with pharmaceutical experience a plus.

  • Understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and the practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. 
  • Advanced knowledge of cGMP standards. 
  • Basic equipment knowledge to perform first line trouble shooting and root cause analysis. 
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. 
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and minimal instructions needed on routine work. 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude plus Basic computer skills 
  • Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and writing skills.
