TCF Technician

GC&E: As the TCF Technician, you will be responsible for providing O&M support for special circuits to include voice, data, and video covered under the TCF operations area during normal duty hours (Monday-Friday, 0800-1700) and one Saturday a month in support of National Guard and Reserve Unit drills. Administer, operate/maintain various types of patch panels, distribution frames, fiber optic modems, multiplexing equipment, encryption devices, media converters, switches (Cisco, Brocade, etc.), routers, servers, conditioning equipment, timing/synchronization devices and UPS systems. You are responsible for systems availability; circuit status reporting; Hazardous Conditions reporting; circuit history file maintenance, management and updates using Visio 2013; perform trend analysis, circuit activation, telecommunication service requests, restoration and downtime, and implement corrective measures to preclude system, trunk or circuit outages. They will load and update the OS and firmware; provide back-ups and restore system configuration settings; monitor and configure VLANs, IP Routing, Access Control List (ACL) and Radius configuration; support WAN optimization; perform system troubleshooting; and troubleshoot, isolate and repair circuits and equipment
