SRC currently is seeking to hire an electrical technician with 3-8 years of experience. The individual will be responsible for working under the guidance of senior engineering staff to assemble, integrate and test production units of various electrical (analog, digital, and RF) and mechanical assemblies. The successful candidate will be responsible for building custom cables and assembling various subsystems into larger systems using engineering drawings and technical diagrams. The candidate may also be responsible for integration testing of circuit card assemblies (CCA's) to insure subsystem requirements are met, and for troubleshooting to the component level (integrated circuit) to determine and repair any faults detected on the cards or associated cabling.

An AS degree is desired and the candidate should be familiar with electrical test equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.) and possess surface mount and through-hole soldering and cable building skills. IPC 610 or 620 certification is highly desired. The ability to design simple electronic circuits is also a plus.

The candidate may also be required to provide test support for the setup, operation, test, and teardown of equipment integrated with various mobile or fixed site solutions. This test support may occur at various military test and training ranges throughout the United States. Travel support for integration, acceptance, or major test events may require travel for 1-3 weeks at a time.

• Cable building and chassis assembly
• Soldering of cable connectors and circuit board components
• Basic circuit card assembly and troubleshooting skills


• IPC 610 or 620 Certification
• Automated test software, RF testing experience, and ability to design simple electronic circuits
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, etc)
• Familiarity with surface mount soldering skills
